Jessica attended her first yoga class in 2005 — after the birth of her first child. While life as a busy working mom kept her from feeling that she could consistently attend classes, a spark was lit and she continued to incorporate learned movements into her exercise regimen. Eleven years later, Jessica attended her first class at a local studio and the spark grew to a steady flame. Soon, yoga became more than just postures and movements to incorporate into a routine, and more a way of life.

Of course, one of the perks was having free yoga classes where she found her first interest in yoga there. Jo enjoys different forms of physical activity such as tennis, walking, and HIIT, but prioritizes yoga because of how accessible and versatile it is. She decided to share her love for yoga by becoming a teacher and completing Yoga Patch's 200 HR RYT program.
